A Victorian Teak Military Secretaire two-part Chest by S.W. Silver & Co.
In good condition with a lovely surface patina to reflect its military past and a desirable maker. This 19th Century teak campaign chest of drawers by the London cabinet maker S W Silver & Company is a useable and charismatic chest. The brass drawer handles are stamped with the maker''s name and trading address and for further protection and strength it retains all its original brass straps and corners. This chest has a full length secretaire drawer with a drop down front, containing two banks of three drawers and writing area is green baize. The chest has iron carrying handles to the sides.
