Circa 1920 Egyptian Revival Inkwell featuring the God Heryshaf

An Egyptian revival inkwell C1920. This bronze and glass inkwell fatures the Egyptian god "Heryshaf" which means "He who is on his lake" he was an important Egyptian god known as The Ram Headed Creator God of Fertility and Power. The Rams head features on the inkwell lid and surrounds either side of the glass tray. A very intersting unique piece, the tray is marked on the underside GESCH., which I believe means patented in Germany but possibly Austrian.
