A 19th Century Ebonised Cased Circular Fusee Wall Clock, the off-white painted dial with roman numerals and script "National Society, London" it has a brass single fusee movement. This clock was clearly made for The National Society for promoting "The Education of the Poor" although it is known that for many years it hung in a classroom in the villiage of Grendon, Buckinghamshire. 36cm Diameter.
